I am currently recruiting on behalf of a nationally recognised law firm highly rated by Chambers and the Legal 500 who wish to appoint a newly qualified solicitor into the corporate team based in Leeds. 

The corporate team sits across the national offices providing a full-service offering and includes transactional experience across M&A, Corporate Finance and Private Equity. The team advises on the full range of merger and acquisition transactions, public takeovers, tender offers, IPOs, secondary issues (both equity and debt), share buy-backs and corporate reorganisations and de-mergers, and works with a wide range of clients on multi-jurisdictional share and asset sales and purchases. The firm's Private Equity expertise extends to all areas of the sector, with the team comprising not only of corporate lawyers but also specialists in banking, fund formation, tax and employment. 

This firm are looking to appoint a newly qualified solicitor who will have six months experience gained in Corporate during your training contract. You will have an excellent academic record to include a minimum of a 2:2 degree.

The Corporate Department is made up of the following business units: Corporate Finance,Tax, Financial Regulation, Corporate Services, Share Schemes & Professional Practices.
