Niche practice seeks Senior Personal Injury and Medical Negligence Solicitor for growing team in Hampshire.

The Role
A rare opportunity has now arisen for a Senior Personal Injury and Medical Negligence Solicitor to join a busy team based in Southampton. Working alongside experts within the field, the successful Solicitor will manage a complex and challenging caseload with a bias towards medical negligence claims. Areas may include: birth injuries; delayed or incorrect diagnosis; brain and spinal injuries; fatal claims and; surgical negligence. Knowledge of/and or experience in high value complex work is highly advantageous but not essential. It is envisaged that this role will require the successful Solicitor to undertake additional travel to one of the practices other offices on a regular basis.
Keen to get involved with the continued growth and development of the department, the successful Solicitor will immerse themselves within initiatives, building and maintaining client relationships and promoting service to generate new business. The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of six years’ PQE;
You will be technically competent with experience in Personal Injury, Medical Negligence and/or Civil Litigation;
You will have outstanding communication skills both verbal and written at all levels;
You will be commercially aware;
Experience of Deputyship related work is highly advantageous but not essential;
You will be able to organise your workload to meet tight deadlines;
You will be personable with a client-focused approach;
You will be a pro-active team player with a flair for business development.
