Senior Personal Injury and Medical Negligence Solicitor sought on a locum basis for 3-6 months in Hampshire!

The Role
A rare opportunity has now arisen for a Senior Personal Injury and Medical Negligence Solicitor to join a busy team based in Southampton on a locum basis. Available for a period of 3-6 months to commence ASAP, the successful Solicitor will hit the ground running, managing a complex and challenging caseload with a bias towards medical negligence claims. Areas may include: birth injuries; delayed or incorrect diagnosis; brain and spinal injuries; fatal claims and; surgical negligence. Knowledge of/and or experience in high value complex work is highly advantageous but not essential. It is envisaged that this role will require the successful Solicitor to undertake additional travel to one of the practices other offices on a regular basis. The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of six years’ PQE;
You will be technically competent with experience in Personal Injury, Medical Negligence and/or Civil Litigation;
You will be available ASAP for a period of 3-6 months;
You will have outstanding communication skills both verbal and written at all levels;
You will be commercially aware;
Experience of Deputyship related work is highly advantageous but not essential;
You will be able to organise your workload to meet tight deadlines;
You will be personable with a client-focused approach.
