Commercial IT Job in central Bristol with national firm

Due to continued success this national commercial firm are looking for a Commercial & Technology solicitor to join their busy Bristol office. This Commercial Team in Bristol specialises in advising companies of varying sizes, from entrepreneurial start-ups to major international organisations. An integral part of this firms Commercial offering is their expertise in the technology industry and they are nationally recognised for the quality of their advice, sector understanding and expertise when assisting businesses in dealing with their IT requirements.

Your new role
You can expect work to include software, hardware, maintenance and support contracts, escrow, cloud solutions and NFC (near field communication) agreements. They also work closely with a number of organisations on prepayment, smart meter and online payment and processing systems. You will also be required to deal with a number of general commercial arrangements including, supply of goods and services, standard terms and conditions and commercial outsourcing.

What you will need to succeed
You will be an enthusiastic Solicitor looking to grow your general commercial experience, and further develop your expertise as a specialist in IT and technology including software licencing, IT outsourcing, E-commerce and Information Security. This is a fantastic opportunity to have broad exposure across the department. You will ideally be interested in developing a focus within the Technology field and relish the opportunity to focus your business development skills within assisting to develop the Tech side of the firms' business.
