Banking Solicitor
Leeds

I am currently recruiting a Banking Lawyer on behalf of a Top 100 firm at their Leeds City Centre office.

The successful candidate will be working on an interesting range of banking transactions with a broad range of clients, including banks, private equity and venture capital firms; large and mid-tier corporates, SME’s and family businesses; and numerous privately owned property companies, property investors and high net worth individuals.

Sitting within the wider Corporate Department, the Banking Unit advises both borrowers and lenders on the negotiation and/or renewal of various types of facilities. You will also be required to assist with the negotiation of security and guarantee arrangements, bank facility financial covenant re-sets, the waiver of covenant breaches and amendments to lending documentation to reflect the changing business and financial standing of borrowers.

The Banking Unit works closely with the Corporate Department’s solvent restructuring specialists to assist with reviews of bank facilities and securities, and also advises clients on intra-group loan documentation, including security and guarantees. This has historically proved to be a successful route in to new clients, which enables the team to develop on-going relationships post-restructuring.

The department is relaxed and informal, but extremely professional. It is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly reputable firm.

Please get in touch ASAP.
