Description

The Cambridge team is at the heart of Qualcomm's Internet of Things Business Unit and the Junior Legal Counsel will work closely with the Lead Lawyer and the Senior Legal Counsel to make a real difference in Qualcomm's innovative journey. The role will encompass:

  • a full range of reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements including inbound and outbound software licences, services agreements and statements of work.
  • becoming a trusted adviser on commercial legal matters to a spectrum of stakeholders building in confidence and knowledge to provide insightful and timely input.
  • becoming part of a collegiate team and embrace the team nature of the legal function.

    Profile

     

    The ideal Junior Legal Counsel will be a UK* qualified lawyer with training from a well-regarded Private Practice or in-house business. Technology drives Qualcomm, therefore any exposure to technology businesses would be an advantage. You should be:

    • cNQ-2 years PQE*
    • Commercially minded with solid exposure to drafting, reviewing & negotiation contracts.
    • A lawyer with an interest in technology and innovation - particularly in the software licensing and IP sphere.
    • Confident communicator with the ability to work with a range of range of stakeholders.
