Tax & Trust Manager
Our Client are an established private practice law firm with a well reputed Private Client Department.
The private client team provides a wealth of expertise across the broad spectrum of private client matters including wills, inheritance tax planning, trusts, probate and estate administration.
The department are currently seeking a full or part time Tax & Trust Manager to join their busy team.
Your main responsibilities will be :
- trust administration (to include liaison with trustees and beneficiaries, preparing annual accounts, monitoring trusts for upcoming dates, ensuring properties are insured, monitoring investments and day to day general trust administration arising
- drafting and filing the trust tax returns (to include liaison with any external accountants)
- drafting and filing estate administration and inheritance tax accounts and lifetime returns for individuals
- assisting with Court of Protection work including checking deputy accounts, forecasting/budgeting and preparation of annual deputy reports/annual tax returns/R40s
The ideal candidate will present with previous experience in a similar role together with knowledge of double-entry book-keeping and good excel skills.
You will also be AAT/ATT qualified and will have had experience of accounts entry software (ideally PTP Tax Software).
