Senior Employment Counsel - Luxembourg

Our client is a world renowned multinational with a host of globally recognised products . They are looking to hire their first Senior Employment Lawyer to support with the expansion of their businesses across Europe and Middle East.

The Role
You will act as the primary contact for the business partners and HR teams and focus on an array of employment law matters relating to restructuring projects, acquisitions and due diligence for business expansion projects. You will assist HR in designing the employment strategy for countries in which we are not yet present, develop policies to help guide local management and set up training plans and conduct training sessions on site. In this role you will work very closely with HR and Senior Management located in numerous EU offices and the US legal team. You will be responsible for drafting employment agreements, creating new company policies and ensuring that HR are fully aware of new employment laws and regulations.

The Candidate
You will be either UK/Common Law qualified with a minimum of 7 years of professional employment law experience having trained with a leading US or International law firm. Ideal candidates with international in-house employment experience gained within TMT or IT/Content/Entertainment. Candidates with additional European language skills i.e. (French and/or German) with the ability to draft and negotiate in both languages would be advantageous.
