Legal Counsel (Energy Company) - Comm/IT

An exciting opportunity for an experienced legal counsel to join a household-name, multinational, energy company. The role will predominantly support the UK facilities management arm of the company in the negotiation of, and advising on, large scale contracts.

Candidates must have a good degree of experience in legal areas including: outsourcing, contract, commercial, IP, employment, data protection and bribery and corruption. They must possess excellent drafting and negotiating skills, be able to confidentially manage stakeholders and work alongside colleagues of all levels. Ideally candidates will have prior in-house experience - whether on secondment or otherwise.

Based in London, the successful candidate will join a strong and friendly team operating in an aggressively growing, multi-billion-pound business. The role would be well-suited to candidates who function well as part of a team but are also able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. To this end, the team enjoys flexible working so the ability to think on one's feet and exercise sound judgement with confidence is imperative.
