Personal Injury Paralegal – Litigated EL PL team – Fixed term contract 9 months
PERSONAL INJURY PARALEGAL - EL/PL - FIXED TERM - LIVERPOOL
Personal Injury Paralegal – This leading casualty EL/PL team is looking to hire a paralegal with previous EL/PL experience to complete nine-month fixed term contract. A member of the casualty team is going on maternity leave and therefore, support in required in their absence.

- Previous Experience: Candidates should ideally have experience of assisting fee earners on litigated work including fast track and multi-track EL/PL. Ideally candidates should have experience of defendant work, however those with claimant work will also be considered. Given the urgency of the position, the ability to start as soon as possible would be preferable.
NATURE OF CASELOAD
The department represents large national self-insured clients predominantly operating in the retail sector. These may be supermarkets, for example or department stores. As a result, the range of EL/PL work is pretty extensive.
In terms of value, the successful candidate will be assisting on both fast track and multi-track, so previous experience of assisting on cases of this nature would be highly useful.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate should certainly be able to hit the ground running with as little lead-in time as possible. Previous experience of both pre-lit and litigated EL/PL work and the ability to assist on fast track and multi-track work would also be preferable.
Also, candidates should be prepared to get involved in what is a busy team, but that also offers fantastic support and training.
FIXED TERM – 9 MONTHS
This is a fixed term contract for 9 months and candidates should be able to start as soon as possible. You will be part of a team representing blue-chip clients and will gain some fantastic experience with some of the best fee earners in their chosen field at the very highest level.
