Contentious Probate Solicitor - Senior Associate

The Firm:

A top 20 full service firm with a national footprint spanning across the UK, our client is a highly respected legal services provider. Their private client department works with a broad diet of mid to high net worth clients generated from volume panel work through to bespoke face to face client services.

Owing to an ongoing increase in litigation they seek to hire a senior associate offering expertise in contentious trust and probate matters for their Birmingham office, linking with their wider established national team.

The role of Contentious Probate Senior Associate:

This role will work closely with the Birmingham Head of CTP, and will provide support in the management and supervision of the existing team in their absence. This role will heavily rely on a proactive business developer, who is comfortable in a networking sphere, promoting the firm and teams services at every given opportunity to generate future work.

Commercially astute, you will see opportunity in cross selling with the other teams within the firm.

Applicants with either ACTAPS and/or STEP would be attractive however a strong track record and reputation in this field is equally essential.

You will be a UK qualified solicitor offering a minimum of 6 years PQE, and will have trained and worked to date with a reputable national or highly respected regional law firm, and will have experience in acting on behalf of executors, beneficiaries and trustees.
