A highly regarded Legal 500 listed full service practice based in Coventry is keen to appoint an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its envied Clinical Negligence Team.

Located near to a host of transport links and with free on-site parking, the firm prides itself on providing bespoke legal services to both individuals and businesses within the region and it has longstanding strong relationships with some of strongest commercial entities and financially sound individuals within the locality due to its reputation as being the "go to" firm in the locality.

As a consequence of considerable new instructions, and with one eye on further growth, the firm is keen to hear from either a solicitor or a legal executive with a minimum of 3 years' experience of dealing with claimant clinical negligence matters.

You will be well versed in dealing with liability, quantum, causation and expert evidence and will have experience of dealing with a variety of clinical negligence actions such as failure to diagnose, mis-diagnosis, delayed surgery and negligent surgery and it would be advantageous if you had been exposed to higher value claims such as birth defects and brain injuries. You will deal with challenging litigated and pre-litigated Multi-Track matters which will comprise serious injuries attracting high level awards.

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious solicitor or legal executive to join a small friendly team that punches well above its weight. The team itself comprises one partner and a mix of 5 solicitors, legal executives and legal assistants so this is perfect for those that want to join a close knit department. In addition, there will be a number of opportunities for face to face client meetings so this is not purely a desk based role.
