Senior Corporate and Treasury Lawyer

Reporting to the General Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal support for all matters arising out of the banks treasury activity, as well as cyclical corporate activities such as annual and financial reporting. You will assist with major corporate related projects as well as support the team across the full spectrum of mainstream corporate/commercial law disciplines. You will also support the Disclosure Committee and Market Abuse Regulation Compliance activities, as well as support them with a major corporate transaction.

Being a qualified lawyer with at least 8PQE, with experience of working in a Legal setting within a complex finance/ accounting environment. You must have experience of advising/ working with a Treasury function of a major corporate/ financial services client as well as have Debt Capital Markets transactional experience. Being a high profile role, you will be happy to lead project team, advocate change, as well as be happy making strategic and commercial decisions affecting transactions/disputes.

You will be centre stage from day one, providing first rate legal advice on both treasury and corporate activities to the banks senior management. With the exciting pace of change within the organisation, you will have high visibility to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
