Paralegal

Your new company
My client is global insurer operating in the specialist Lloyd's market. Currently looking to hire a capable paralegal into their 5 strong legal on a permanent basis. To start, asap.

Your new role
You will provide assistance with day to day tasks which includes reviewing commercial contracts and corporate documents, conducting legal research and providing ad hoc support on litigious matter. You will be accountable for effective risk management, accurate data entry and reporting and keeping up-to-date with relevant regulatory requirements You will also aid the Assistant Company Secretary in the preparation of meeting packs, agendas and minutes, attending meetings as required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a law and/or LPC graduate with a minimum of 1-2 years paralegal/contracts experience, ideally within an in-house setting. Exposure to the insurance sector would be an advantage but is not essential. The company is going through a particularly busy period so you will be proactive and forward thinking in your approach, demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment. You will also have a strong attention to detail and a team player mentality.
