Reporting to our Head of Mobile Development and Deployment, as Legal Counsel you'll provide pragmatic legal advice that will enable us to deliver important deployment and integration projects on time and on budget. Working with other lawyers in the team and across the business, we'll look to you to support key commercial relationships - from partnership negotiations to the emergency services programme. It's a big role with lots of opportunity for you to learn and develop and you'll have the chance to make a huge impact as you provide guidance that will inform some big business decisions.

What you'll do:

• Work on a variety of commercial legal matters that relate to the network and technology side of the business
• Support your colleagues and the businesswith contract negotiation, advisory work, drafting and other legal tasks
• Share your solution-focused, practical commercial advice
• Encourage interaction with other areas of EE by developing an understanding of our Mobile Development and Deployment team across the business
• Provide legal support for property and infrastructure
• Support occasional litigation activity that relates to network arrangements

You'll definitely:

• Be a Solicitor with commercial law experience
• Have an interest in telecoms
• Bring excellent communication skills
• Work well under pressure
• Be able to prioritise your work and manage customer expectations
• Be able to manage risk and provide balanced advice
• Be proactive, enthusiastic and eager to learn
