Residential and Commercial Property Lawyer

Residential and Commercial Property Lawyer required to join a local authority based in London for an initial 3 month period.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across a number of projects that will require experience in both commercial and residential property. The Council is currently using funds to purchase residential properties to increase their housing stock, therefore their residential work will be picking up across the team. Alongside this, there is a housing regeneration scheme in progress, so we feel this role would be really well suited to an experienced Property Lawyer who has experience of handling a varied caseload.

The successful candidate will be joining a large and busy property team, and hold responsibility for handling a substantial caseload of both routine and high value transactional matters.

This role will involve dealing with commercial and residential transactions, therefore previous substantial experience must be held in both of these areas. The client is actively seeking a candidate that has experience of handling a variety of clients at one time, and is interested in hearing from candidates with either a public sector or private practice background.
