Corporate / Banking 3+PQE In House

We are exclusively instructed by our client, a very successful and growing FinTech house offering P2P lending. The role is based in a great location on the Hampshire coast.

Our client is in serious growth mode and requires a banking or corporate lawyer of around 3PQE (ideally 3-5PQE although slightly more or less PQE will be considered).

Core functions will include the drafting and negotiation of loan agreements and carrying out stringent corporate due diligence on borrowers. You will advise the business and internal stakeholders and work alongside the existing Head of Legal.

The right candidate will display a willingness to work beyond the core remit of their post - there is great opportunity to be involved in wider business development and decision making.

This is a rapidly growing business that is staking its place in the UK's booming FinTech sector.

You will have a solid, broad background in either banking or corporate transactional work and the ability to build strong business relationships and give commercial advice.

The opportunity to progress into a broader business role in due course may be on the cards for the right individual.

The legal team is growing alongside the business so an additional real estate lawyer and litigation (secured high end LPA debt recovery) are also sought.
