Legal Costs Draftsperson required for Nottinghamshire practice.

Located a quick walk from major travel networks, the firm is easily accessible to clients and employees alike. They are now looking to add a Costs Draftsperson to their team.
The Role
Our client is seeking to recruit a Costs Draftsperson to join the firm’s Nottingham office. The position is offered on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be preparing bills of costs, submitting bills to court, points of dispute, negotiating settlement of claims and conducting advocacy at assessment and cost hearings. The work will include ensuring compliance with assessment and cost recovery rules, Legal Aid billing and use of the CCMS computer system. The Candidate
You must be a Costs Draftsperson.
You must have experience of solicitors’ costs recovery.
You must have experience in drafting bills and costs including private and Legal Aid bills.
You must have good negotiation skills.
You must have excellent communication and IT skills.
It would be advantageous to be able to conduct advocacy at assessment hearings.
