Financial Accountant

Our client is an award-winning international law firm that can trace it roots to the late 1800s. Perhaps uniquely among major firms, they have retained a major client from this time. The firm now has a global reach spanning Europe, Africa, Asia, Middle East and Latin America. 

They are now looking to hire a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be ACA qualified.

Responsibilities

Preparation and consolidation of company accounts and audit packs. 

Main point of contact with Auditors. 

Ensure overseas offices follow key financial controls. 

Monthly intercompany reconciliations.

Balance sheet reporting.  

Manage Transfer Pricing and Intra-Group loans.

Monthly reviews, including P&L variances, WIP & debtor days, and cash management.  

Generating monthly cash collection targets. 

Quarterly bank rec reviews. 

Quarterly cash flow forecasting. 

Organise and review annual budgeting and forecasting.

Candidate Profile

Qualified ICAEW Chartered Accountant.

Relevant experience gained within legal or professional services. 

Excellent persuasion and reasoning skills.

The ability to work methodically and under pressure. 

Good Microsoft Excel skills.
