The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and technically excellent Residential Property Lawyer to join our clients’ flourishing and CQS accredited department in the Hertford area. Joining a specialist team, with members across all branches of the firm, the successful Lawyer will manage a full and varied caseload of freehold and leasehold conveyancing matters from instruction to post-completion to include: shared ownerships; new builds; remortgages and; investment properties. Additional involvement in business development and actively building relationships with clients and external professionals throughout the locality will form an essential part of the position.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 5 years’ PQE gained within a reputable Residential Property department.
You must have excellent technical skills, with expertise encompassing all aspects of conveyancing transactional work.
You will ideally have experience of working to CQS and Lexcel requirements.
You will be able to manage a demanding caseload, meeting tight deadlines and assisting junior staff where necessary.
Prior business development experience is essential for the position.
You will be driven, client-focused and possess first class interpersonal skills across all levels.
