The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join our clients’ thriving practice in the Guildford area. Becoming part of a dedicated team, led by one of the firms’ partners, the successful Lawyer will enjoy a diverse caseload incorporating: contractual disputes; contentious construction; insolvency; property litigation; professional negligence; partnership and shareholder disputes and; debt recovery. Acting for and liaising with clients throughout the region, the ideal Lawyer will also participate in business development activities for the department and firm as a whole.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE gained within a reputable Commercial Litigation department.
You must have excellent technical skills with a broad range of expertise.
You will be commercially aware with first class interpersonal skills across all levels.
You will be a confident negotiator with strong influencing skills.
Prior involvement in business development would be advantageous.
