Criminal Defence Solicitor
Central London - £40,000 - £50,000 pa
Position - Criminal Defence Solicitor
A new opportunity has opened for a Solicitor to join a highly regarded Criminal Defence team based in Central London. The firm have a well developed practice at Central London, that covers a number of areas of Criminal Defence work. Due to an uptick in recent work they are now looking to bring in a Solicitor into their team. With this in mind the firm are looking for a Solicitor with a broad Criminal law background and that is Duty accredited with experience representing clients at both magistrates and crown court. The firm would also ideally be looking for Solicitors that have experience working in a Serious Fraud Panel environment, that have a following of clients or can generate privately funded work. In turn this is a great opportunity to join a thriving Central London practice, that has an established Criminal Defence team that has a number of wells developed business streams bringing in revenue for the team. Career development opportunities exist as the firm further expands its Criminal Defence team.
Required Skills and Responsibilities;
- Broad base of Criminal Defence experience.
- Experience representing clients at magistrates' and crown court.
- Ideally some experience in handling serious fraud cases.
