Prestigious expanding law firm are looking for a legal secretary to assist a Partner who deals with regulatory work. The Partner is looking for a secretary who will be pro-active, take the initiative and will develop a good relationship with his clients.
Skills / Experience Required
- Excellent secretarial and IT skills and fast typing speed to deal with high volume workload and some lengthy documents
- A background in litigation or regulatory law would be preferable
- Able to manage conflicting priorities, prioritise effectively and turnaround large volumes of work to deadline
- Good team player
- Excellent attention to detail
They are happy to see a legal secretary / legal PA with any commercial legal background although regulatory work or medical negligence would be preferred. The role will suit a legal secretary looking for a PA role but needing a 9.30-5.30 with the odd exception. The successful legal secretary must be able to use their own initiative, work independently and have a proactive approach and good work ethic. You must be willing to take on increased levels of responsibility and really make this exciting secretary role your own.
