The role will report to the Board of Directors and will primarily be based at our Head office in Harrow on the Hill, requiring travelling to other offices as and when required.
The position is responsible for the oversight and support of all facets of the HR function, ensuring that the role acts as a business partner (i.e. to make a strategic contribution to support the delivery of the firm’s business plan)
Key Roles
- Develops and delivers HR reports to support the business and enable effective business decision making on a monthly basis
- Review and develop company Policies and Procedures.
- Analyses HR data to help support business decision making
- Manages and administers the HR database to ensure it stays up-to-date and relevant to business needs
- Oversees the day-to-day processing and development of payroll and benefits, in line with regulatory requirements
- Delivers day-to-day benchmarking to the business and supports managers with the writing of job descriptions
- Supports HR function with Recruitment, Employee Relations, Appraisals, Training and development
- Participation in Induction
- Management and Leadership of the HR team on all HR activities, Health and Safety.
- HR presences in all sites
- Training Contracts - - to ensure compliance with the Law Society requirements in regard to the management of Training Contracts allocation
- Establishing workflows documenting HR processes and creating workflows.
- Working with IT to further develop the HR Database
Key Experience & Skills
- CIPD Human Resources Management – MCIPD required
- Working knowledge of HR policy and practice
- Experience of analysing data to establish trends
- Internal communications and engagement
- Working knowledge of Data Protection legislation
- Experience in working within a fast paced and creative environment
- Good IT skills
