Personal injury paralegal – RTA ULR
PERSONAL INJURY PARALEGAL ULR - LIVERPOOL
Personal Injury Paralegal ULR – An opportunity has emerged for a paralegal with proven ULR experience to join this highly dynamic defendant motor team, based in Liverpool, which continues to expand and grow its already extensive client base. Candidates should be able to demonstrate both pre -lit and litigated ULR experience. Previous experience of managing more junior staff would also be a major advantage, but is not crucial.
KEY FACTS
- Job Title: Paralegal ULR Motor
- Location: Liverpool
- Salary: £17,000 - £20,000
- Reports to: Legal Director
- Previous Experience: This role is intended for a fee earner with previous ULR experience ideally from a defendant background, though claimant candidates are actively being considered for this vacancy. Team leading experience would also be highly useful, though this is not critical
STRUCTURE OF THE TEAM
What makes this team particularly attractive and certainly different from competing law firms is the way the team is structured. The department is divided into different levels, which are all responsible for handling different types of claim at increasing levels of complexity. At all levels, fee earners have the opportunity of taking the pre-litigated or litigated claim right through from initiation to settlement. This means that team members develop a far more well-rounded appreciation of the claims process that at other practices where the claim may be transferred to a different team when it reaches a certain stage.
As fee earners progress, they are also encouraged to take on team leading duties to nurture the junior talent in the team. This is particularly beneficial as it encourages the free-flow of knowledge and experience, yet also gives fee earners the chance to develop important managerial skills.
EXPERTISE
Although this is a defendant RTA and ULR team, candidates with both claimant and defendant experience are actively encouraged to apply. You should ideally have at least one year of solid experience handling ULR claims whether pre-litigated or litigated.
Previous management or team leading experience is also preferable, though this is by no means an absolute must. Our client is more concerned to see candidates who possess the right attitude, who wish to develop their skills further and build a long-term career with the firm.
If this sounds like you, please do not hesitate to apply to find out more.
