Costs Draftsperson

Sue Ross Legal are currently recruiting for an experienced Costs Draftsperson to join the Liability Division of our client, an international Law Firm, based in their Sheffield office.

Duties will include acting for a wide variety of clients providing costs advice on negotiating and recovery of personal injury and general costs insurance matters.

The ideal candidate will have experience of attending Detailed Assessments, good attention to detail and the ability to deal with high value and complex claims. Experience should have been gained within either a Claimant or Defendant environment.

This role would suit someone with 0-4 years PQE experience (although candidates with more or less experience may also be considered) in drafting bills using Costsmaster, drafting schedules and ideally precedent H budgets. Experience of providing assistance on costs to the firm’s clients would be desirable along with excellent time management and organisational skills and strong technical and research skills.
