My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Legal Cashier to join their Stockport based law firm within a busy accounts department. The successful candidate will have extensive legal cashier experience and be fully compliant with the solicitor’s accounts rules.
 
The firm offer onsite parking.
 
Duties include:
  • Managing all accounts ledgers (nominal and client)
  • Client account control
  • Billing
  • Posting all transactions
  • Processing all payments in/out
  • Processing banking
  • Reconciliations
  • VAT returns
  • Month/year end
  • Liaising with external accountants for yearly solicitors’ accounts rules report
  • Liaising with external accountants for yearly tax accounts
  • Dealing with any staff accounts queries
  • Assisting with Management accounts
