An opportunity for a Court of Protection solicitor to join a marketing leading Midlands team.
Client Details
A Legal 500 national law firm - based in Birmingham.
Description
This is a hands-on role for a Court of Protection Solicitor and you will be given plenty of support and development from senior members of the team.
You'll typically get involved a mix of work including:
- general ad-hoc admin of financial affairs - including liaising internally with the litigation team and externally with case managers/financial advisors etc
- statutory will applications
- applications for appointment of Deputies
You'll be given lots of client contact either in person or on the phone.
The team is well known locally and gets involved with relevant business development and networking opportunities and there will be the opportunity for you to be involved in these too.
Profile
Ideally you will some experience in Court of Protection work (i.e. as a solicitor or as part of a training contract) or you have a genuine interest in pursuing this area as a career.
