Debt Recovery Paralegal

Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Debt Recovery Paralegal on behalf of a busy Legal Department in the West Midlands to assist for a minimum period of 3 months.

The ideal candidate will be an LPC graduate that can demonstrate excellent organisation and communication skills as well as dealing with clients and supporting Solicitors in administrative tasks. Experience of Debt Recovery would be advantageous to this role.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Assist the debt recovery team
• Drafting a variety of legal documents
• Providing general legal input as allocated by line managers
• Carrying out legal research and writing up case notes
• Providing functional support including file administration, photocopying scanning and arranging meetings

A degree of independence will be essential for this role, although more complex matters will be supervised by a Solicitor. This role requires contact with professionals and members of the public therefore you should be confident and professional.

The rate of pay for this role is dependent upon experience and will fall between £9-11. This role is full time and applicants need to be available on short notice, if not immediately.
