Legacy Solicitor

An exciting position has arisen with a leading Charity as part of their Legacy Administration team. The position would be perfect for a Solicitor with experience in Wills, Tax, Probate, and Property, and ideally some experience working in a charity. Salary is dependent on individual experience however in the region of £45k.

The successful Solicitor / Legacy Manager will work closely with the Head of the Legacy Department and actively coach and manage a team of 3 more junior Legacy Officers. As a senior member of the team, the successful Solicitor will have responsibility for a combined high value caseload, and will advise on a workload consisting of wills, tax, trusts, and contentious and non-contentious probate, charity, and property law matters.

Applications are invited from Solicitors, although non-qualified candidates with significant experience will be considered, who have experience working in a Legacy department and can demonstrate knowledge of wills, tax, trusts and charity law. The successful candidate will likely have leadership experience and be comfortable handling sensitive matters in a high profile organisation.
