Our client, a busy Local Authority based in London, is currently seeking a Commercial Contracts and EU Procurement Lawyer to start as soon as possible. This position will run for three months initially with the strong likelihood for an extension.

The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a team dealing with a challenging and varied caseload including;

  • Complex construction contracts
  • Service contracts
  • Contract related governance issues
  • Advising senior officers within the council
  • EU procurement matters
  • Broad advice experience
  • Excellent drafting skills

The ideal Commercial Contracts Lawyer will be available on short notice and will have a proven track record for hitting the ground running and making a positive impact from day one.

Due to the EU Procurement element, our client is keen to speak to Commercial Contracts and EU Procurement candidates with public sector experience. However, candidates from other sectors are encouraged to apply should you possess the relevant EU Procurement experience. This role is urgent and therefore is not a training opportunity. The ability to pick up an existing caseload with ease is imperative.

If you are available on short notice and have the required experience, please do send your CV to me as soon as possible.

At LAW Absolute we endeavour to respond to all applications within 48 hours.  However due to the volume of applications we receive we may not be able to respond to every candidate individually.  If you have not heard from us within a 48 hour timeframe your application has not been successful and your details have not been retained.
