Founded in 1880, the company employs 18,700 people worldwide. Ball Corporation stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange and it has a turnover in excess of $11 billion. A rare opportunity has now arisen to join Ball’s European Beverage Packaging in-house legal team based at their European HQ in Luton. The role will support the Senior Legal Counsel and work with all major customers and suppliers of the Beverage Packaging business in multiple jurisdictions. Predominantly drafting and negotiating high value contracts with major global and regional beverage brands and global suppliers, the role will also deliver timely and appropriate general commercial legal advice to the divisions businesses in the region.
You will be a qualified solicitor currently working in-house having trained at a reputable law firm. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years PQE with a strong commercial contracts background. Experience of working on complex, high value, international commercial agreements is essential. An appreciation of European Competition law is also desirable.
With an ability to work autonomously and in a consultative manner you must also be a skilled communicator and influencer with a strong delivery-focused approach, capable of interacting with the business at all levels.
