Global business with over 400 offices and in excess of 30,000 employees, have a vacancy for a Legal Counsel on a six month contract, based in Central London.
About the Role
Working within a collegiate legal team, the Legal Counsel will enjoy a broad remit including:
- Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements relating to customers, IT, supply, tenders, consultancy and procurement.
- Assisting with M&A matters
- Providing commercially-focused legal advice to all departments of the business, across a range of international territories
- Managing relationships with external counsel
About You
The Legal Counsel role requires an individual with a track record of successfully drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. You will have trained at a well-regarded law firm and any time spent in-house, would be viewed as advantageous. The client believes that at least three years PQE would be required to undertake the duties associated with the role, but all applications will be considered on merit. Foreign-qualified lawyers are also encouraged to apply.
This hire requires a relatively quick turnaround, so applications from people on more than two weeks' notice in their current role, cannot be considered. Ideally you will be immediately available.
