Contracts Executive

Our client, a high end leading design company, requires an experienced, talented and dedicated contracts executive to join their friendly and professional team. The ideal individual will take ownership of their role and become an indispensable member of their team.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, this role is key to helping the company win projects and requires a passion for working on contractual matters, to high levels of accuracy whilst under pressure. You will need to be flexible and adaptable, and problem solve on a regular basis using a common sense and practical approach. Your prior legal experience and knowledge will allow you to thrive in this role.

THE JOB ROLE

• Preparing draft project contracts for the Head of Finance
• Refining draft project contracts with Head of Finance and legal advisers
• Ensuring the company's IP is protected and legal risk is minimised, and identifying potential issues early on
• Assisting with drafting amendments to standard terms of business, as required
• Reviewing contracts issued by other parties, where applicable
• Drafting fee overview letters
• Preparing and issuing NDA's for all new contacts
• Liaising with Heads of Department to prepare unique project NDA's
• Refining unique project NDA's with Head of Finance and legal advisers
• Maintain a database of fees per project with help of Finance team
• Maintain filing system for all soft and hard copies of legal documentation
• Manage all miscellaneous legal requirements, ie. Trademark registrations
• Prepare ad hoc legal reports, as required, by Head of Finance
• Work closely with the PA to the Head of Finance to ensure all legal requirements are completed in a timely manner
