With an unrivalled roster of acts, their industry presence is second to none. Based in London, the legal team is looking to add an additional media lawyer. As the Legal Counsel - Music Industry you will start your in-house career in one of the most dynamic and creative environments there is.

Description

This opportunity for a Legal Counsel - Music Industry will be at the core of the businesses and it's artists relationships with digital music platforms. It will be this lawyer's job to secure the best contracts for the musician's digital exposure. You will be at the forefront of this negotiating deals across EMEA from the London hub.

Profile

The ideal Legal Counsel - Music Industry will be a UK qualified lawyer having obtained a solid training either at a leading firm or within an in-house environment. Ideally you will be cNQ-2 years PQE* ready to make a move in house and be part of one of the most exciting industries in the world.

The suitable candidate will have had/be:

- strong IP exposure (if an NQ have done a seat or if a more experienced lawyer part of their post qual experience).

- good commercial contract drafting/reviewing/negotiating experience

- comfortable with a fast pace and interfacing with a broad range of individuals

- passionate about the industry

*PQE is a guideline - all levels of PQE will be considered.

Job Offer

The basic package will be c£45k with a an excellent benefits package.
