Data Protection Officer, Interim

We are working with a high profile business which is looking to appoint an experienced Data Protection Solicitor/Specialist to join the business for a 3-6 month period.

This is an opportunity to act as the Data Protection Office for a large blue chip business by providing timely, consistent, accurate and clear advice to the business on the various issues and ensure the business acts in a compliant fashion with regards the data and privacy rights of its customers and 3rd parties.

You will be ensuring procedures are in place to ensure compliance with DP law and regulation, providing training to the business, and working with relevant authorities managing relationships with authorities to ensure the business is fully compliant with all legal requirements. We are keen to hear from qualified lawyers or ISEB qualified data protection specialists with at least 5 years of experience in data protection.
