OTC Equity Derivatives Exotics

This major investment bank has a vacancy within its OTC Derivatives and Financial Engineering legal team for a lawyer with 7-10 years' PQE.

Working closely with the Head of Department and the business desks across asset classes, you will be involved in structured OTC products referencing funds, credit, rates, equity, FX and commodities.  Working on structured index tracker products and product development for derivatives around esoteric asset classes as well as handling more flow derivatives, you will have a sound knowledge of ISDA architecture at the structured confirmation/definitions level (in any asset class) and be seeking a role with primary responsibility for some of the highest value and most sophisticated OTC transactions. 

In addition, you will work with other lawyers, Compliance and the business desks on a range of regulatory initiatives and advice.

The successful candidate is likely to bring 7-11 years' PQE gained at least in part from a significant (Magic or Silver Circle or top US) law firm.  You may have moved in-house in a derivatives or structured products role and will be seeking a challenging role with significant transactional content.
