Restructuring and Insolvency Lawyer

A highly-regarded, international Law Firm is looking for a Knowledge Development Lawyer with expertise in Restructuring & Insolvency.

Duties:

• Disseminate knowledge within the R&I team and the wider Firm (as appropriate) and answer technical legal queries in relation to the law and regulations applicable to R&I.
• Provide training internally to R&I lawyers and as applicable to the wider Firm.
• Supervise the extraction and collation of know-how within the group on a systematic basis.
• Be the central point of contact for the team's know how resources (including library).
• Create and amend R&I practice notes, templates and other knowledge content.
• Assist with preparing R&I internal and client publications.
• Assist in the development of client training and, where appropriate, deliver client training.
• Coordinate R&I blog posts.
• Coordinate and assist in providing content for our external publishing commitments.
• Attend CRI PSL meetings and disseminate any relevant information to the R&I team.
• Work closely with partners, associates and the BD & marketing team to enhance the legal content quality of pitch documents and other marketing materials.

Essential Experience:

• At least 3 years PQE R&I experience in the UK market.
• Be familiar with using legal research tools (including online sources such as LexisNexis, Butterworths, Westlaw, PLC) as well as using Microsoft Word including styles and hyperlinks.
• Detailed knowledge of the Insolvency (England & Wales) Rules 2016 and the electronic filing system (CE-file) in the Chancery Division.
• Familiarity with knowledge systems, including intranet, extranets and automation.
• Desirable experience includes:
• Previous Knowledge Development/Management Legal experience.
• Experience of training associates and trainees.
