In House Counsel - Insurance Corporate - City

An iconic global insurance brand seeks to appoint a corporate lawyer c 5 PQE + to join an established and highly respected in house legal department

THE ROLE

The post holder will be expected to work as a key member of an established and collegiate in house legal function

advising on both legal and corporate matters in order to drive forward UK legal strategy

The work will be varied and exciting with a focus on corporate matters.

Corporate work will include company acquisitions and disposals

Regulatory/Risk management and corporate governance work

Corporate/finance issues

Part VII Transfers

Liaison with external law firms and advisers

There will also be an opportunity to handle more general commercial work
