Criminal Duty Solicitor
Our client is looking for a Criminal Solicitor who is Duty Qualified to join their team in Birmingham. This established and expanding law firm are looking to enhance their Criminal department with the addition of a driven and enthusiastic Duty Qualified Solicitor who is looking to further their career within this area of law. You will represent clients before the courts for criminal offences. You will attend at police stations to represent and advise clients who are under arrest for summary, either-way & indictable offences
As Criminal Duty Solicitor you will be based locally and offer a proven background in criminal law, in return you will be provided with exceptional career prospects and a competitive remuneration package.
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of legal aided criminal cases, and advising or assisting clients at a police station including evening and weekend work.
- Must be qualified duty solicitor.
- Needs to be able to handle caseload unsupervised from start to finish.
