Our client who is a prestigious law firm in Central London seeks to recruit a Junior to support their Dispute Resolution team as an Analyst. You will sit within the electronic discovery team (eDiscovery).

This position gives an enthusiastic person an opportunity to develop and train in a team that provides structure around its mentoring and coaching. You will be assigned to the project team and work alongside other Analysts and a Senior Analyst. You will provide support to the eDiscovery project team as follows:

  • Track data.
  • Manage receiving and the processing of the data from external providers to the project team with respect to transfer protocols.
  • Complete forms with respect to chain of custody of data and data management.
  • Data initiation and conflict checklist.
  • Create data coding forms and field codes.
  • Set up document workflows in the database.
  • Manage project initiation documentation and maintain project information.
  • Communicate with internal teams.

You will undertake duties with respect to team best practice, processes, protocols and guidelines.

The above duties offers the right person an opportunity to on-board with a full induction programme in place. You will participate as part of the firm wide induction as well as individual training with different members of the team. This is an opportunity to make an impact, grow and in the future, work towards other level positions on offer within the eDiscovery project team. You will learn from the ground up and have an opportunity to learn all the important aspects of eDiscovery that underpins projects at their inception. This is an important position ensuring that processes and protocols with respect to data are followed and ensure the team continues to runs smoothly.

To be suitable for this position you must be:

  • Technology savvy. The Analyst requires someone who understands technology and has a natural affinity in this respect.
  • Experience across a variety of different technologies and software programmes.
  • Some experience in eDiscovery technology, coding and/or encryption experience would be ideal.
  • Either Law or IT Graduate.
