A global professional services firm in Belfast are recruiting for enthusiastic legal graduates for contract analyst roles. Their clients are typically large banks, asset managers and hedge funds and the projects you will be involved in will include compliance and regulatory change, finance/operational transformations, redress & remediation, restructuring, research and Brexit preparation.
Your new role
This role will appeal to graduates and professionals with ambitious career aspirations looking for an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects for international clients within a global professional services firm.
You will support clients with their plans and the company are seeking graduates from Legal/Compliance, Project Management backgrounds, Finance/Business,
Specific responsibilities will vary depending on your experience/skill set, and also the nature of the individual projects on which you will work, but may include:
Finance
* Gathering/collation of financial information
* Preparing reports and presentations
* Financial analysis & calculations, using various software tools and packages
* Quality-checking information and identifying anomalies
* Research - collating and preparing reports for clients
Legal & Compliance
* Regulatory remediation and quality compliance testing
* Contract and documentation review, identifying key facts, anomalies, etc.
* Reporting - detailed and summary analysis
* Financial complaint handling and customer redress
* Document collation, evidencing paper trail of transactions
* Paralegal support
Project Management
* Support project management offices (PMOs)
* Monitor and report on progress
* Document all project-related assignments, issues and risks
* Create reports and presentations
* Improve project administration processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions
As projects are typically carried out on client sites, candidates must be flexible and prepared to work from UK & international locations.
What you'll need to succeed
In addition to an enthusiastic attitude and positive approach, the following skills are required for this role: Essential skills:
Qualifications
Ideally 2:1 degree in a relevant subject (Economics, Finance, Accountancy, Business, Legal/Compliance, Technology-related degrees or similar)
Candidates with 2:2 degrees may also be considered
Experience
While candidates may possess relevant work experience in a corporate environment, this is not essential. We are happy to see applications from strong graduate candidates.
