A Banking & Finance Associate is required for a rewarding opportunity with a leading international full service firm. The role will be based in Hong Kong and offers an excellent salary and benefits package.

My client first opened its doors in Hong Kong over twenty years ago and since then they have gone from strength to strength building an international client base and working across Hong Kong, China and really the entire Asia Pacific region. You will be joining a team of highly capable legal experts who advise in Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese and so with this in mind Chinese language skills are mandatory. With half a dozen other office locations globally their expertise in Hong Kong primarily lies in Corporate and Financial legal services, and specialist Fiduciary and Funds services.

You will be working in the Managing Partner's team, they are also head of the Asia Finance practice and Global Head of the Asset Finance practice too. You will be representing major financial institutions on all aspects of Banking & Finance law. This is a unique role in that my client is looking to make this hire on a part time basis; it will be the opportunity for someone to work 2-3 days a week. You will work alongside the existing Associates on their matters; the team is experiencing a deluge of work at present and the decision has been made that the addition of a part time Associate would alleviate some of the pressures. Chinese language skills are mandatory.
