OUR CLIENT
A household name with an established in house legal department seeks to recruit a commercial lawyer with c5 pqe + to handle a varied commercial / construction workload
THE ROLE
The post holder will be expected to provide both legal and strategic advice; handling the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements, in addition to advising on corporate, IP, competition and consumer issues.Work will additionally include advising on aspects of engineering/construction contracts, warranties and bonds.The role will additionally involve advising the business on procurement, regulatory and risk management.
There may be additional responsibility for overseeing contentious work, as a key member of the department the post holder will be expected to manage external counsel and professional advisers
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this exciting business facing role, pplicants must have a solid commerical background ideally with work experience gained from the construction / engineering sector
