Our client is a major FTSE 100 company, the leader in its sector globally. 

The business is seeking to expand its established and well resourced legal team, with the appointment of a Dispute Resolution lawyer.

You will be responsible for the direction and management of disputes and legal proceedings against the group, advising and outlining alternative dispute strategies as well as managing an extensive legal budget. These disputes may be around customer contracts, regulatory matters, finance, construction and negligence and investigations, to give just some examples.

The business model is very much to employ experienced lawyers who can get under the skin of the organisation and be a genuine business partner to support the strategic goals of the company. As such, you will need exceptional technical legal skills allied to a commercial mind set and the ability to lead and develop high level strategic projects. You will additionally be an able communicator, and have a demonstrable track record in project management or relationship management.

To succeed in this role you will need to be a barrister of solicitor with at least 3 years PQE litigation experience, gained either in a well regarded in house legal team, or a respected top flight law firm.
