Litigation Lawyer - FS Regulation (Temp)

A position has arisen for a Litigator with financial services regulatory experience to join a busy team in a leading UK bank on an ongoing temporary basis. This role is focused on PPI matters, based in the City and paying £500-550/day depending on experience.

You will be responsible for:

- providing legal advice to the business to help analyse, implement and execute new FCA rules and guidelines

- ensure legal developments affecting the handling of PPI complaints are identified and addressed

- work with the risk and compliance teams to develop governance control frameworks

- liaise extenstively across the business acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert

To be considered for this position you will be a qualified lawyer with previous experience in a similar role within the financial services sector. You will have demonstrated technical knowledge of current regulatory matters and be able to advise accordingly within a complex business environment.
