It has continued to thrive and is a modern, progressive practice, though still with its roots firmly in the local community, and deals with an interesting range of practice areas. The firm is particularly well-regarded for its work in charities law, and is currently recruiting for a good paralegal to join the charities team on a twelve-month contract.
THE ROLE
You will be a confident and experienced paralegal or legal assistant with at least twelve months’ experience in a full-time paralegal role, and should have an excellent academic record, preferably having completed your LPC. Although the firm would prefer an applicant with charities law experience, it would consider a strong candidate with experience in another discipline, who is eager to gain experience in this interesting area of law with its unique legal challenges. The firm is looking for someone with a meticulous approach to their work, able to prioritise matters and contribute effectively to a busy department. Have a good academic background, probably having completed your LPC;
Have at least a year’s practical experience in a full-time paralegal role;
Be a very strong administrator and be willing to assist across other departments as required;
