Chadwick Nott have been instructed to find an MOJ Portal Paralegal for a firm in South Manchester. The salary will be dependent upon experience and will be to £21K + bonus.
The role will involve working on a volume caseload of RTA files through the MOJ Portal. The caseload will consist of up to 300 files which will be a mix of stages 1, 2 and 3. Day to day the duties would involve assessing the risks of a case in terms of liability, causation, quantum and credibility (including any third-party allegations of fraud / staged / induced accidents), obtaining initial instructions from Clients and inputting new cases on the case management system, drafting correspondence to Clients and third parties and arranging medical appointments.
Applications are invited from candidates with upwards of 12 months experience dealing with MOJ portal claims across stages 1 and 2. It would also be desirable for candidates to have experience of stage 3 and Part 7 and Part 8 claims though this is not essential to be considered for the role.
