Our client is a leading South coast law firm
They are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant. They need someone to "hit the ground running" so previous experience of residential property is essential.
If you have residential property experience in either a legal secretary or Conveyancing Assistant role, you may be just the person they need for this varied role, working within the Residential Department in Southampton
You will have responsibility for assisting in residential property transactions under supervision, from initial instructions through to the post-completion formalities at the Land Registry. You will support clients face to face and remotely so you will therefore have excellent interpersonal skills and gain job satisfaction from providing the highest standard of client service. In addition you will be involved in diary management, billing, credit control and financial transactions.
You will enjoy being busy, are unflappable and take pride in organising and supporting others. You will need a good eye for detail, fast and accurate word processing skills, a good knowledge of the full Microsoft Office Suite and a good standard of numeracy to carry out this varied role.
Normal working hours will be 0900 – 1700 hrs, with 1 hour for lunch, Monday to Friday but you will need to be flexible in working outside normal business hours as required and in supporting your team.
