Assistant Solicitor - Residential Conveyancing

The chosen Assistant Solicitor will undertake fee earning work and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the department. To meet fee earning and other KPI targets.

This highly-regarded department handle all forms of residential property work and you'll either be working on matters delegated by the Partners or building and developing your own case load, depending on experience and ability.

Candidate requirements:
Competence in chosen area of law and practice, but recognises need to develop and learn.
Seeks to achieve targets set for Assistant Solicitors in respect of chargeable hours, fees, recovery rate, lock-up and non-chargeable time.
Develops and maintains a client/referrer base.
Appreciates and identifies opportunities to refer work to other departments.
When requested, becomes involved in activities of the Firm outside of those of normal work.
Recognises importance of practice development and willingness to become involved.

Well-developed interpersonal, social and communication
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Computer literate with an ability to develop its use in own functional area
Enthusiasm and commitment
